 In 2004 His Majesty Sultan Qaboos awarded the fourth license to sell petroleum products to Sheik Saud Al-Khalili. The new company was called Hormuz Oman Petroleum.
The company will gear its efforts to catering to the downstream oil sector needs, specifically those in the retail sector.
