Afaq Petroleum

Afaq is a joint venture company formed between Oman Oil Marketing Company (formerly BP Oman) and Al Sarooj Group.

Oman Oil Marketing Company (OOMCO) is a publicly quoted company on the Muscat Securities Market. The majority shareholder with 51% is Oman Oil Company which is the investment arm of the government of Oman.

• OOMCO has a network of 96 fuel stations spread throughout Oman.

• OOMCO represents Air BP in Oman where it manages a joint aviation terminal at Seeb International Airport.

• OOMCO has a well developed B to B operation which caters to all sections of the economy.

• OOMCO markets the full range of both BP and Castrol lubricants throughout the country.

• OOMCO manages a major distribution terminal in Muscat catering for 50% of the nations fuel requirements.

• OOMCO prides itself on being the only 100% Omani owned company with international operating practices.
