Luban
Trading has opened two new Al-Rifai outlets in Sultan Center and
Carrefour Qurum. The new outlets are part of Luban Trading plan to open
another five new outlets in Muscat within the next 2 years.
- With respect to a competitive market and the
potential growth that Al-Taher Group is witnessing, three new companies
have been created to provide more services to all our customers in the
sector of Electrical Engineering, Rock Materials and
Marine Works.
- Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) has
awarded the rehabilitation of its MAF port to Sarooj Construction.This
project will run for 12 months and will involve dredging, conrete
precasting, marine blocks laying, piling and earthworks.
- Sam Trading has changed its
official name to Sam Engineering to be inline with its activities,
namely engineering services.

mentioned companies with a flawless result having not registered a
single non-conformity during the audit. Our Quality department strives
to maintain all ISO 2000:9001 standards within the certified companies
and promote them within the rest of the group.

Mr. Mike Wilson has been
appointed as GM for Afaq Petroleum. The company's scope of work includes
providing consultancy services to retailers and buying existing retail
networks.
Mr. Dieter Held former GM of
Strabag, joins Al Sarooj Construction Company and takes full
responsibility for the management of the company. With his vast,
professional and local experience that exceeds a quarter of a century
and a team consisting of highly trained professionals, the company
expects to fully cater to the needs of its clients and execute projects
on time, with high quality standards and with no injuries to
staff.
